The intial clearings of the kadalaar Estate was done by A W John, a pioneer in 1893 . His son C.H. John was the manager for the Finlays in 1930s.








The bungalow was built in 1903, the bungalow as undergone some addition during the last decade but retains a typical Tea estate living set amidst the imposing mountain back drop. Enjoy the endemic and exotic trees in the compound while you sit in the well landscaped lawn.
