Short History
Casa del Fauno was built by Maria Angela Fernhof –a native of Italy who first visited India in 1990 and frequented till 1995,temporarily lived on the hills of Periyar moved down to Muhamma in 2003 made it her home as she had fallen in love with the rich heritage and the peace she found like nowhere else in her travel.
The home is indo- Italian in style and architecture. You will find the personal touches of her artistic talents in the making of the house with the unique blend of the east and the west.
The well spread villa is absolutely no clutter due to intelligent use of space.
Large rooms, gracious verandahs, have grand interiors that are minimal with antiques and furnished with designer pieces of comforts.
Influences of the Hindu mythology are highlighted with rare pieces of idols and statues like Shiva Linga the Nandi decorate the home and its lawns.
