Formerly owned by the Ropeway Company and served as the manager’s residence of the ropeway company. Now a part of the waterfall Estate West division, the company offer fine plantation stays on the hills. The company offer one of the finest teas in South India.
The residence was erected much before the ropeway was commissioned in 1927 to send tonnes of produces down to the plains from Anamallias.
The windy but a refreshing drive form the plains takes you to the waterfall estate which comes into the view as soon as the road reach the vantage point within tea gardens, short deviation into the tea slopes takes to this lovely bungalow tucked in great privacy in petite little country home styled bungalow which has a very homely look and feel in all ways.
Done in stone and wood a lovely veranda D shaped is so nice we think of hanging around, but once we are invited in the lovely drawing room it becomes I our best place .You will sink into the cosy sofas and feel the rich wood and Victorian furniture and fittings .The beautiful windows and large expanses of glass on the doors let in so much light.
The low laid ledges and the pillars are unique, a nice place to enjoy the nature around with a cup of tea.
