 This heritage Hotel is the reminiscent of colonial Portuguese architecture. Built more than 200 years ago the Old Courtyard is painstakingly restored to its original grandeur by its present owners. The entire ancient arches and alcoves around an enchanting courtyard give the building a great sense of a nostalgic past.
There are eight bedrooms with windows looking out into the courtyard. The bedroom floors are planked with heavy wood and are furnished with unique old furniture like four-poster beds with mirrors. The tiles fitted in the woodwork gives the ambience of an old 18th century interior imparting both luxury and comfort as a reminder of a glorious bygone era. The restaurant is fitted into the verandah, which spills into the courtyard and is shaded by an ancient mango tree. The open-air restaurant with cobbled floor is set under the shady mango tree. It offers total peace and calmness and lots of air to enjoy your lunch or dinner. As you enjoy the Indian, French, Italian, Spanish, Philippians or Thai cuisines in the evenings, the courtyard gets filled with soft and silky rhythms of the east and the west.
