The bungalow was built in 1915 and is very close to Munnar town. The layout is well spread with cute chimneys and gables reminding the favorite among English county homes.
Part of the Sevenmallay Estate Parvathi Division which was one the oldest area opened way back in 1880 by Mr. A. H. Sharp a pioneer planter which was one of the first areas to be planted with tea in the High Ranges in 1885.
The bungalow is one of the fine on the hills . Parvathi Division is named after Sivan's consort Parvathi and the estate as such was opened Sevenmallay estate has the Munnar town along its eastern boundary and historic landmarks of Munnar such as the Munnar Christ Church,
