The Retreat Bungalow is placed on a piece of land- landscaped by nature. As we drive up the Vagamon hills heading towards the Kurisumala rock ridges the rough rubble road moves onward to reach a cliff on which the bungalow is situated.
The simple laid out building is built on the foot of the huge Kurisumala pilgrim rock which can be seen on the southern side of the bungalow. The sloped tin roofed and granite masoned building has a tiny eastward facing portico at the front. As you enter the living room and the dining room your eyes are sure to be catch the long stretches of meadows flowing down the west side of the bungalow. The valley just fades away into the horizon as if awaiting for the breathtaking sunset.
